Leksikal Collection
About Collection
Leksikal is a versatile font that draws inspiration from the traditional humanist sans typeface. Leksikal also has variable axes that include both sans-serif and serif forms, is adaptable, and is designed with a modern humanist aesthetic. The typeface proportions are based on Gill Sans, which design’s was influenced by both monumental Roman capitals and traditional "old-style" serif letters. This distinctive combination lends Leksikal a style that distinguishes it from other geometric sans-serif fonts.
Leksikal variable offers an unprecedented level of flexibility and control, offering a virtually limitless range of possibilities. Available in 3 axes, designers have the ability to precisely tailor it to their specific needs, optimizing legibility, aesthetics, and user experience across various devices and screen sizes. The “wght” (weight) axis allows users to transition seamlessly between the lightest and the boldest weights, while “ital” (italic) axis enables fine-tuning of the slant of each character. The “CASL” (casual) axis transforms the contemporary and streamlined humanist sans-serif forms into the fluidity of transitional serifs. Other than the serif and sans-serif families, Leksikal offers a flare style, found between the extremes of the "CASL” (casual) axis, adding another dimension to its versatility.
